Since our formation in 1995, Body Control Pilates has been a recognised leader in the growth of Pilates in the UK and beyond and, most importantly, in the development of standards for Pilates education.
Since our matwork teacher training courses commenced in 1996, we have been at the forefront of many important innovations and developments within the international Pilates community.
Our matwork course was the world’s first curriculum-based course for prospective Pilates teachers. This represented a total change from the previous ‘apprenticeship’ method of becoming a teacher.
As we near 30 years since setting up the course, we are proud that Body Control Pilates Founder Lynne Robinson is still actively involved in delivering some of the tuition modules and in ensuring that our support networks are fully in place both during the course and after qualification.
