Supporting our community has always been our highest priority – and never has there been a more critical time to do that. Whether you are a Body Control Pilates teacher, a teacher training student or someone who enjoys coming to classes with one of our 1,500 teachers around the world, you are important to us. That’s why we have been working flat out to find ways we can help you as we finally emerge from lockdown and socially-distanced ‘face to face’ teaching can begin again.

The UK Minister for Sport has announced that studios can reopen and classes recommence in England from Saturday July 25th (different dates apply to NI, Scotland and Wales).Taking that onboard, here’s how we are moving forward:

Group Classes and 1:1 sessions

The vast majority of Body Control Pilates teachers have been teaching classes online via Zoom since late March. Most will continue this way through the summer and probably the rest of the year - we estimate that well over 5,000 Body Control Pilates classes are being offered each week online. We know that many of our members, however, will take the opportunity to restart face to face sessions from the end of July, whether in their own studio or in community halls.

If you already go to Body Control Pilates classes, your teacher will contact you to let you know their plans. Body Control Pilates Members and Students

We have already been in regular contact with you and will continue to be so as we emerge from lockdown. We will keep you informed so that you can get your teaching business up and running again in a ‘COVID secure’ environment as quickly as possible. For our students, we will continue to ensure that you can maintain momentum as you work towards your goal of becoming a qualified Body Control Pilates teacher. We rapidly created new online platforms for both video content, interactive online tutorials, and classes and workshops and will continue to work seven days a week to support you through your course.

Become a Body Control Pilates Teacher – start online!

Never has health and fitness been such a high priority for everyone. We have been inundated with people wanting to switch career and do something where you can work flexibly and help others! We have a schedule of courses planned, but have adapted how we start and progress courses. In August and September (two courses) you can start your course online with our exclusive theory and anatomy videos, supplemented by live online tutorials and classes. You will be sent course notes in advance and we will ensure sufficient contact hours to maintain the overall course quality is maintained to the high level we are renowned for. We are considering whether to also offer all tuition modules for our October and November courses online and will announce a decision on this shortly. The Body Control Pilates Centre, London

We are planning to reopen our studios from July 27th 2020 for education courses and a very limited number of pre-booked public 1:1 sessions. Sorry, we will not restart public classes until late Autumn. Due to demand, however, we continue to add to our programme of online classes taught by an amazing team of highly experienced teachers.
